Make an Appointment - Birmingham City University Online Tutorials

Make an appointment in 3 steps. Step 1: Select a staff member. Step 2: Select an available date. Step 3: Select an available timeslot.

Appointment slots are for up to 3 people at a time. For larger groups, or if there are no appointments available, please email the librarian to arrange a session.

  • Please cancel your appointment in advance if you are unable to attend. You can do this via your booking confirmation email.
  • Report to the library Help Desk on arrival.

Online appointments may be via Microsoft Teams, Skype or our online chat service.

Our live chat service is available 24/7 if you would like to drop-in without an appointment.

You can drop into the Curzon Library and Mary Seacole Library Help Desk weekdays 9-5 to speak to a librarian.

Any subject specific drop-in sessions, academic skills workshops and workshops for academic staff will be listed on the library events calendar.

All tutorials are currently online, via our online chat service or Microsoft Teams.

Click on your Faculty and choose the librarian for your School/Subject area.

You will see the available tutorial times. Click to book.

Once booked, you will receive an email with instructions on how to attend your online tutorial.

If your campus/subject librarian isn't listed, or there are no options to book an online-only tutorial then this means there are no appointments available. You can visit your online subject guide for help and contact details.
