Copyright: Using images, video and other resources effectively

Copyright: Using images, video and other resources effectively Online

Understanding copyright is crucial in today's digital age. Learn how to responsibly and effectively use images, videos, and other resources in your dissertation without infringing on copyrights. This session will empower you to enhance the visual and multimedia aspects of your work while staying within legal and ethical boundaries.

In this session I will show you how best to use copyright works in support of your dissertation in the context of UK Copyright compliance. Amongst other things we will look at where to source "free to use" images from, how to attribute them correctly according to any licence terms, the risks of using copyright works. My intention is not to inhibit your use of these resource types but to raise confidence when it comes to managing the risk of using them yourselves.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to boost your dissertation success! Join us online, sharpen your skills, and make your dissertation journey a fulfilling and triumphant experience.

If you couldn't make it to Monday's session, no worries! We're offering an additional opportunity to join us on Tuesday the same week and make sure you're on the right track from the very beginning. Check the repeat session on Tuesday 4th June 1-2pm in the Library Events Calendar.
